This recipe based on 7 ingredients, will help us improve and strengthen the body's defenses. Good prevention for possible seasonal pathologies

After explaining in other posts some foods, spices and medicinal plants to increase our defenses, I propose an infusion to take during the times that we need to strengthen the immunity more.

Ingredients for 2 people

  • Water (1/2 l.)

  • Ginger (5 gr.)

  • Turmeric root (2gr.)

  • Leaf echinacea (a small spoonful)

  • Cinnamon stick (1gr. About half a branch)

  • Cat's claw (a small spoonful)

  • Black pepper (a pinch)

  • Half a lemon juice


Take the Ginger and Turmeric, peel and pass through a mortar so that they are finely chopped. Then boil half a liter of water and add ginger, turmeric and cinnamon. After 2 minutes add the cat's claw and let it boil for another 5 minutes. Then add the echinacea and after 2-3 minutes. turn off the heat and strain it. Finally, add the pepper and lemon juice and mix well. Preferably consume immediately after adding the lemon juice so as not to lose its properties.

You can optionally add a sweetener such as honey, which at the same time will help enhance the effects of cinnamon. The combination of these two products has been used for centuries in Ayurveda and Chinese medicine for its great healing properties.

Cinnamon and honey combine well with all other tisana products, helping to strengthen and complement their beneficial properties.
