To help your body cleanse itself, eliminating fluids in a healthy way.

Juices and smoothies are an easy, natural and quick way to incorporate different nutrients into the body. Below we present a draining and nutritious juice that can be taken during the hottest times of the year, or in times when we have little mobility. With this juice we offer good drainage to the body in order to eliminate or prevent fluid retention.

It is recommended to take it in the morning, or as an aperitif at lunch, as it increases urine volume and could cause sleep problems.

Preferably, the food to be used, be it organic, or Km 0, as long as we know where it comes from. If this is not possible, it should be tried to consume well washed and peeled.


  • Asparagus (4 units)

  • Celery (3 branches)

  • Pineapple (two slices)

  • Parsley (5 branches)

  • Cucumber (half a unit)


First, we will wash all the ingredients and cut them into cubes, trying to take advantage of all the parts. Then we will pass them through the blender, or if not available, through the hand mixer until they are well crushed. If the juice is too dense, you can add a little water or the juice of a lemon or lime. It is advisable to take it on the spot to take advantage of all its nutritional properties.

Optionally, you can add a little grated ginger to bring freshness, and a little pepper to enhance the ginger. Or if you want to add a more Mediterranean touch, you can complement it with some fresh basil.
